The diagram left illustrates the heat exchange system. Water enters
the exchanger at the bottom of the picture. The water starts off blue, as
it passes through the exchanger which is bathed in the boiling water of
the boiler. As the water passes through it is heated up, but the upper
portion of the boiler is steam, which allows the water temperature to
lower to 90 degrees celcius. The water then flows out of the top of the
exchanger and into the group. While the water is on there is a constant
cycle of water through this system, waiting until you operate the group to
make coffee. |
